1. How do you feel working with the Fortix team?
Honestly, I really enjoy it. Everyone’s down to earth, supportive, and you never feel like you’re on your own. There’s a real sense of teamwork, and people genuinely care about the clients and about each other.
2. Do you feel like you’re making a difference to clients?
Yes, and that’s actually the most rewarding part of the job for me. Even small things can have a big impact on someone’s day. Seeing a client smile, or knowing they feel safe and listened to, it’s hard to explain how much that means. It reminds you why the work matters.
3. What do you think about new projects?
I find them exciting. It’s a chance to try new things, learn, and hopefully make things even better for the people we support. Of course there’s always a bit of a learning curve, but I like being part of something that’s evolving.
4. How do you feel Fortix management supports you?
I’ve felt really supported. If I need advice or something doesn’t feel right, I know I can speak up. They’re approachable, they listen, and they check in regularly, not just about work, but how you’re doing as a person.
5. What’s been your most memorable moment working at Fortix so far?
There’ve been a few, but one that sticks out is when a client I’d been working with for months opened up for the first time. It was a real breakthrough, and it felt like trust had been built. That moment stayed with me.
6. What motivates you to come to work each day?
It’s knowing that what we do matters. You’re not just clocking in and out, you’re helping people move forward, even if it’s in small steps. That’s a good reason to get up in the morning.
7. How do you handle the more challenging parts of the job?
It can be tough at times, but I think the key is staying grounded, asking for support when needed, and remembering why we’re here. We also debrief as a team when things get heavy, which really helps.
8. What do you think makes Fortix different from other places you’ve worked?
It doesn’t feel like just a job. There’s a sense of purpose and values that run through everything. And there’s real emphasis on relationships, with clients and between staff. That makes a big difference.
